Many people recognised me after the launch of Apple iPhone, but I was there before that in different forms. There was also a time in my life when I existed as a combination of a feature phone complimented by a PDA on an operating system like Palm OS or Symbian etc. With the advancement in computing speeds and the establishment of a worldwide network, I am now everywhere.
The ease I bring to get things done appreciated by everyone from all walks of life. From a teacher to a doctor, from an engineer to a painter and from children to their grandparents everyone is benefited. People use me for shopping, banking, shooting, recording and creating new things. The applications which I can host have no limits. Education, entertainment, productivity, creativity. innovation, communication, I am literally there everywhere.

As a single point of entry into your digital world, it is impossible to imagine life without me. Thus, I am also blamed for many things in people's life. FOMO, the Fear of missing out, makes people anxious when I am not around. Many families have stopped talking amongst themselves. Friends come together only to go back into their screens. Everyone has something for themselves inside me. The question therefore is, should I be blamed for being smart or the people who have lost balance and are too much indulged into the virtual world? The question to be asked is why do people want to run away from reality and hide inside my screen and the applications that I offer?
A fool with a smart tool is still a fool. Be smart, keep balance.
