Changing the narrative

Competition is the enemy of creativity. Who is a better painter, Van Gogh or Picasso? Can someone from today's era compete with either or both of them? None of these questions will lead anywhere because art is beyond the realm of comparison, and so is anything creative.

New realities get created where there is no completion. There is no incremental betterment. If you search on the internet for the comparison of two artists, you will end up with an absurdity stating, " Van Gogh is the better painter, but Picasso has the better paintings".

Comparison is not just ordinary but also detrimental to creativity.
