Habits are defined as "an acquired mode of behaviour that has become nearly or completely involuntary". I am sure no one will argue how bad are the 'bad habits'. Everyone agrees that bad habits are bad. Even a smoker will not give her/his cigarette lighter to an underage kid if he asks for a light. The governments earn a lot of money by allowing the selling of many such dangerous things, but they also spend money to raise awareness about bad habits' ill effects. Parents, teachers, religious preachers, educated thinkers, medical fraternity and every other health authority, will tell how bad the bad habits are.
You too have no problem in calling bad habit evil. But then, why is "Good Habit" an oxymoron. Can't 'good' and 'habit' go together? Is there no difference between a habit and an addiction? What is the problem with having some involuntary behaviour?
These are the questions we would want you to dwell on. What is your take on "good habit"? What are your good habits and when was the last time you introspected about your habits?
We will come back to this topic again in our posts and podcast. We have that good habit 🙂.
