I know people who spend hours to choose a dress they are buying. People who spend days to decide a name for their website/ business handle. Months to decide which car to buy and so one. I understand the financial calculations and research required for some of these topics. But, many times we do this under the assumption that these things are going to be permanent.
We think our education is going to be relevant throughout our life, we assume our relationships are there to stay for the rest of our life and we in a sub-conscious way take our life to be there till eternity. None of this is true. None of this is permanent. Every one of us is in flux and everything is in perpetual beta. All that is created has a shelf life and then it's no more. A flower that blooms in the morning, fades at night or the next day.
To deal with this topic in detail and to seek you views on this topic we have come up with our this week's podcast on the impermanence of life and the art of letting go.
