Whenever we hear the term “organisation”, it is never about an individual. It is always a collective idea, a collective effort. Even, if it’s my skill set of being organised, it is of no use unless it affects the working of a system. And, the moment there is a system, I’m not alone. An organisation is a collective system that has a common vision, a common goal and all approach the same with different and yet same paths. That’s what makes it rich in its expression.
When instead of one, many minds come together, it’s not only that the individual ceases to exist but also something new gets created. In the union of a collective, this new creation is what further fuels the propulsion of an organisation – both as an idea and as an effort.
When the freedom fighters came together to achieve India’s freedom – each with their own ideology and principles and yet for a common vision, in that organisation independence was achieved, history was created. The creation from an organisation happens at every level – from a small NGO to a large institution or a nation, from an artist’s club where they meet weekly at a tea stall along a narrow road to a government body. The true nature of an organisation is tremendously powerful. The one realising its potential is the one who will strive for creating her/ his own path – and only mindfully and with awareness.
