Cleverness: Possibility of Ignorance

What do I get, when I am open to sound "average"? How does this possibly help? It brings a genuine curiosity, people feel comfortable to share, and if you take interest in others, they too start liking you. Not as a trick, but to honestly look at things with an open mind and an open heart. There is no judging, no evaluation. It's all about the possibility of learning, growth and development.

When we think we don't know everything, we are open to observe and understand. Also, there is no urge to prove a point to anybody and to show how you are smarter than them. You then ask questions to explore and not to show your cleverness. There are no hidden agendas behind your actions and behaviours. You are more interested in getting things done and in the process of doing it rather than checking and looking for who gets the credit. This helps you be peaceful with yourself and with others. In the absence of that rush to sound intelligent, a real intelligence emerges. To know oneself. To be with oneself and one's surroundings. To appreciate the wonder and joy of life in general. There is no hoarding of information, rather the possibility is of being more generous and sharing whatever you can with an open heart, without expectations and thus without any frustration. This possibility of sharing ideas, and sharing success also helps as hurdles and failures also get shared. There is no single point of failure, there is no you win or you lose. It's a game of we win or we play again.
