Freedom: The Freedom of a Bumble Bee

Creation as an act happens out of nothing. We’ve already seen the example of a painter in a post during the introductory week where painting as an object is a mere craft, but painting as a thought is a creation. That creation comes only out of nothingness. He painter merely being an example. The context of creation extends in all the facets of our own life.

The internal dialogue that we have, a narrative, a story – is our creation. It is only if we create this story... ...the story can empower us.

We all are constantly creating – only unknowingly, and in fact unconsciously. Our fears, worries, anxieties, or even the excitement and the cherishing moments are created by us unconsciously. The internal dialogue that we have, a narrative, a story – is our creation. It is only if we create this story consciously – like the painter, the story can empower us. We can bring in it the desired intention. Else, it will simply become splashes of colour with no significant meaning to it.

Whenever we create unconsciously, our creations seem to be a result of external circumstances that are beyond our control. It is only in being a conscious creator, we realise that our creation can come purely out of nothingness, without any reasons, past knowing or any preconceived notions. In this creation, there is total freeness. It has no obligation, it is unreasonable.

This reminds me of a popular folklore about a bumblebee. Scientists, researchers, and aeronautical engineers on studying a bumblebee concluded that given its size, weight, and wing structure it is impossible for a bumblebee to fly. The only thing is that the bumblebee is unaware of this research.
