Death, which is the ending of the continuity, is the birthplace for a new creation. It is the reincarnation of a human, right here and right now. Not the reincarnation which is assumed to happen in the next life, but a voluntary reincarnation in this life itself.
When I look at my own life from childhood until now, I can see at least a few instances of the very clear death of my being. Some of those lives of mine were not healthy, some were counterproductive and some were those which gave me a new life. In all the cases though, one thing which is common is that it was the end of the continuity, the end of the attachments and belongings. Some of the new beings which got created after this, helped me create a more meaningful and purposeful life. It helped me look at the world with a different view, at times it also helped me to look and observe the view itself and the viewer herself/ himself. It brought me closer to now, closer to reality, the current moment. Death of a being is also the death of all the thoughts, actions, emotions, attachments, belongings and behaviours of that being. We will look at how the death of a being is also the death of all our habits and rituals in the post on possibilities in death.
