Wisdom: Tomato in your fruit salad?

In our day to day conversations, when we come across a phrase like "wise man" or "wise person", we often build a poetic image of this wise person in our minds. This wise person knows about everything. She/he is a point of guidance to whom everybody approaches and seeks solutions from. We almost put this person on a pedestal with an aura behind their head!

Many attribute the wisdom as the highest form of intelligence. And therefore, many strive to achieve this wisdom. The irony is that wisdom cannot be achieved or attained. Only the sensitive one can perceive and receive it.

Let me elaborate this with an example, and also a distinction between knowledge and wisdom. Tomato is a fruit. knowing that is knowledge. To not put it in a fruit salad is wisdom. Wisdom has a certain intuitive, instinctive quality to it. Wisdom comes from experience. It is perceived by someone who is sensitive and receptive. Therefore, wisdom is something that is not achieved or attained.

Wisdom has a certain intuitive, instinctive quality to it. Wisdom comes from an experience.

The moment there's a cleaning that wisdom comes from an inner experience, the pre-conditioned image, the motion, meaning of wisdom alters.
