Trapped by our own Karma

By reading the previous post, one might wonder if we are trapped by our own karma. It seems like every action of ours is consequential of the residual past baggage that we carry. If that is shaping us today, right now into who we are, then how do we change course? We can simply be accidental beings if we're only governed by our karma.

In this context, with an urge to define my own course of life, a quest comes - How do I break my own karma? And we start acting upon it. Desperately make new kriyas (actions) to break away from our past. But karma sticks on. Any effort seems futile.

Stop struggling, just be, acknowledge as is. Sigh... Is that an answer? Perhaps not the one that we want to listen to. More in the following post - "Beyond Karma"
