We are, especially in our fast-paced, multi-tasking, urban lives, are constantly bothered by many things – small and big. They always keep us on our toes. And, that happening all the time could be overwhelming.
When we live that life day in and day out, it piles up. Eventually, it starts showing up upon and within our bodies. This can reflect in the form of experience of anxiety, stress, fatigue etc. We realise that something isn’t right but we also assume and take the situation as a non-optional outcome of the given context we live in.
It is only when there is a clearing on the matter, we can realise that we do have a choice to be okay with the situation. Being okay is not about resigning to the situation. It does not have the tone of helplessness like, “what other option do I have?” or “this is my life…” or “I’ve to be okay with this…”. Being okay is about accepting the situation the way it is and observing and simply being present to the reality as is. Being present is about realising and letting go of all the fears, worries and anxieties.

Inside of this space there comes a moment of emptiness, of experiencing a total silence. There is no internal dialogue. In this space, the mind and the body feel light and liberated. And, only in this space one can experience freedom.
This ‘freedom’ can only and only happen in the right now, and only by an individual’s choice – a choice to realise and to let go of all the fears that are either based on our already completed past or in anticipating future. Freedom can only exist in this moment. Everything else, including the recollection of this text, is a story or a narrative of freedom but not the experience of it.
