There once was a professional. Bored by his desk job, he decided to move to a remote location and do pottery for living. All his life, he led a pretty ordered, rational life, and this one thought on the way out from work that evening of the weekend - just from his work desk to the door of his office was so intense that he thought of going with that intuitive flow. There was nothing rational or ordered about it. Up until now, he did everything the planned way, and to hours later, that evening he was aboard a train that was taking him to a faraway land. It's not that he was frustrated with his desk job. He simply felt that he did it for he was qualified in that and it paid him well.
The following Monday, he was unreachable to his colleagues. No one knew where he was. Weeks passed, and his organisation eventually gave up on him. He, on the other hand, was a hundred miles away, working out of a small place for a craftsperson. He knew nothing about pottery, but his determination convinced the craftsperson to keep him as an unpaid intern. He lived off his small suitcase and the craftsperson's basement and the basic food he offered. Life seemed even more regimented than his desk job. This young man, though, was determined to do this job. For he was passionate about it, he felt connected, he made this his life's mission and thought of serving humanity by offering his skills.
The journey's long and arduous one. Many months later, when his colleagues found about his whereabouts, they thought how silly was he to take an irrational decision. Nobody seemed to understand him. Neither they understood themselves though. Even this young man never understood his 'erratic' decision. But, he brought in a huge turnaround, a new twist. It came with this flow. Sometimes, one simply has to go with the flow. No understanding is required.
